Cheers to the Season: 15 Festive Holiday Cocktails
The holiday season is perfect for gathering with loved ones, celebrating, and enjoying delicious festive Christmas drinks. A signature cocktail can elevate the occasion whether you’re hosting a cozy family dinner, a fun party, or a quiet evening at home. Here are some holiday-inspired cocktails that are as festive as they are flavorful!
It has been a while since we added fancy cocktails to our holiday to-do list. I love entertaining—actually, my husband and I do—so I thought we could add one or two to the list. It is a fun way to try something new, and if you don’t drink alcohol, there are many holiday cocktail recipes that you could make without it.
How to Set Up the Ultimate Holiday Cocktail Bar
- Choose Your Menu:Â To keep it manageable and festive, offer 2-3 signature cocktails. Include one non-alcoholic version.
- Prep Ahead:Â Pre-slice garnishes, pre-mix syrups, and arrange ingredients for easy access.
- Create Stations:Â Set up different stations for each cocktail with recipe cards, ingredients, and tools.
- Add Festive Decor:Â Decorate your bar area with a cute printable, fairy lights, fresh greenery, and holiday-themed drink stirrers.
- Include Snacks:Â Keep bowls of mixed nuts, pretzels, or holiday-themed snacks nearby to pair with cocktails.
- Premake Ice:Â Keep plenty of ice on hand, stored in a stylish ice bucket.
- Glassware Galore:Â For a professional touch, provide a variety of glassware (martini glasses, tumblers, champagne flutes).
In light of this, I created a Holiday Cocktail Bar Printable that can easily be framed in an 8×10 gold or black frame. It would look beautiful on a bar cart and add a festive touch to your holiday gatherings.
