Many of us face a few challenges as we transition into the early spring season. One is the shift in time that occurs when we “spring ahead” by setting our clocks forward one hour. This change can cause us to lose an hour of sleep or an hour of being awake, making us feel out of sync. Personally, I believe that this time change can impact our productivity, as it takes some time to adjust to the new schedule.
Simple Spring Decor Ideas
However, as we continue to adjust to the time change, we also look forward to the arrival of warmer weather. With the onset of spring fever, we start to feel a renewed sense of energy and motivation.
This is when we start thinking about making small changes to our home, such as cleaning and organizing, spring decor ideas, or even taking on a DIY project. With the longer days and warmer weather, we feel more inspired to take on new challenges and make positive changes in our lives.
One of the easiest ways to bring freshness to your home this time of year is by using fresh flowers. Whether in a vase or as part of a larger arrangement, spring flowers can instantly give you a pop of color and add natural beauty. I also like incorporating natural elements such as woven baskets, trays, and fresh greenery, adding texture and depth to my decor.
Beautiful Spring Decorations
The goal is to create a fresh, inviting home full of possibilities. The easiest way to do this is by focusing on clean lines, natural materials, and a light and airy color scheme. This includes things such as lighter fabrics, floral print, seasonal art, and incorporating a few seasonal decorations.
1. Eucalyptus Spring wreath
Spring wreaths can be a great focal point for a front door. This spring wreath is handmade with two different kinds of eucalyptus leaves. The leaves are very thick, with the addition of twigs with small berries.
2. Cherry Blossoms
These artificial cherry blossom stems are made of silk and are a favorite spring decoration. These spring branches are made of high-quality fabric and plastic and have a real-feeling feel.
They would look great in a large vase on a dining room table or kitchen island.
3. Decorative Wood Scalloped Dish
Add a touch of coastal charm to your living space with this beautiful wooden dish. The eye-catching scalloped edge gives it a unique and trendy look.
The distressed finish adds a subtle vintage touch that beautifully complements any home decor style. This piece is perfect for showcasing your favorite trinkets and decor accents or as a standalone decorative piece on your coffee table or bookshelf.
4. Marble Dish
This beautiful marble dish is so versatile and pretty. It would look great in a bathroom to hold a bar of soap and a nail brush, and you could also use it to hold a candle just about anywhere.
It also comes in neutral and black marble finishes to match different decorating styles.
