Designing and decorating kitchen counters can be a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics. In this week’s Friday’s favorite finds, you’ll discover items that serve practical purposes and add beauty to your kitchen counter.
Friday’s Favorite Finds
As someone who loves styling kitchen countertops, I’m constantly looking for fresh ideas. This week’s discoveries have become some of my favorites. For additional inspiration, be sure to check out my post titled “11 Decorative Items for Kitchen Countertops.”
Favorite finds
1. Wooden Spoons
It’s always a good idea to have a set of wooden spoons in your kitchen for everyday cooking and baking. As mentioned in a previous post, these mango wood utensils are a top pick. They’re resistant to heat and water damage and come in various dipped colors. Adding this set to a crock on your kitchen counter would be a stylish touch.
2. Paddle Shaped Cutting Boards
These versatile boards are the perfect addition to any kitchen, serving as cutting and serving boards while adding a touch of elegance to your countertop. I highly recommend storing them leaned against the kitchen backsplash for easy access. You can also pair them with other kitchen accessories to create a chic look. This may be my top choice in this week’s finds.
Hand and Dish Soap Dispensers
I bought these lovely amber glass bottles for my kitchen, and I still love them. They make my soap look more attractive on my kitchen counter. The labels are made of vinyl, which is long-lasting and easy to clean. I also switched to Attitude hand soap and dish soap refills, which helped me save money.
Countertop Organizer
I use a tray on my kitchen counter to arrange my hand and soap dispensers. This tray is convenient as it occupies minimal space, is resistant to water and scratches, and can be easily cleaned. An organizer can make your countertop well-organized and keeps essentials within reach.
Knife Block Set
If you want to display your knives on your kitchen counter with a touch of elegance, Martha Stewart’s store offers a stunning knife block set in multiple hues. I find the linen shade particularly appealing, but you can also choose from grey, blue, red, navy, and black options.
I hope you found my kitchen styling picks for Friday’s favorite finds enjoyable. These are my personal opinions, and I only suggest products I have either tried or would recommend trying.
