Choosing to Snack or Not
There are a lot of opinions on snacking, and everyone’s needs are different. After years of thinking that snacking was a destructive, bad habit that was a partial cause of my weight loss struggles, I am choosing to change my mindset and listen to my body.
These are the benefits I am now aware of when I plan & choose healthy snacks that are nutritious and supportive:

When during the day are you most tempted to look for a snack? My snacking typically happens in the late afternoon and evening. I fast in the mornings and eat breakfast between 10-10:30 am. Lunch is at 1 pm, with a snack around 4 pm. I try not to eat 3 hours before bedtime. Evening snacking can always vary as there is such thing as weekends when I stay up later than weekdays.
