It was a gorgeous weekend in late June, so we decided to plan another trip to explore New Brunswick. We love visiting the charming Village of Alma NB, during the summer, and it’s only a short one-hour drive away from our home city of Moncton.

A Scenic Route to Alma NB
Broadleaf Ranch
We took a scenic drive to Riverview, NB, passing through charming towns like Hillsborough and Hopewell Hill. During our journey, we stopped at Broadleaf Ranch to admire the beautiful horses. Located just a short 45-minute drive south of Moncton, New Brunswick, Broadleaf Ranch offers much more than horseback riding. They also provide lodging, camping, and a restaurant for guests to enjoy.
I couldn’t help but admire the beauty of the horses. It excites me about possibly going on a horseback riding adventure someday.
Waterside Beach
During our trip to Alma, we decided to take the scenic route and stop at Waterside Beach. This stunning location boasts an expansive sandy beach, perfect for long walks on the sandbars during low tide. Although the tide was high during our visit, it was still a beautiful sight to see. For those seeking a more secluded beach experience, Waterside Beach is an ideal spot to spend a relaxing day.
