Designing a Home Office? Here are 5 Favorite Finds
I’m so excited to share my home office design experience! It was a project that was very personal, and I really enjoyed the process. In this week’s favorite finds, I’ll be showing off the awesome products I purchased for my office that I would give nothing but a 5-star review.
Favorite Finds
While designing my home office, there were many products that I loved. However, if I had to choose five items that stood out, these would be my favorite finds. Whether you’re updating your home or work office, incorporating some or all of these products can give your space a feminine and stylish makeover.
Favorite finds
1. Artificial Olive Tree
At first, I was thinking about putting a floor lamp in my office design, but then I stumbled upon this gorgeous olive tree, and after reading the reviews, I just had to get it! As someone who loves indoor artificial trees, I can be pretty picky, and my living room olive tree was more expensive because of this. But this olive tree from Amazon was much more affordable, and when it arrived, I was blown away by the quality and how real it looked. I went with the 6-foot size, and it was perfect for my space.
2. Woven Storage Baskets
I recently purchased these really cute seagrass baskets in a beautiful coffee color. I had planned on using them as decor in my display cabinet, but only one fit properly. No worries, though, I ended up using the other basket for storage, and it works just as well. These baskets are super versatile and can be used to organize just about anything on a desk or dresser. I was really surprised at how sturdy they are. I think these handmade baskets will last me a really long time and were a perfect addition when designing my home office.
Linen Cork Board
Next to my desk, there was a blank wall that needed something. I usually dislike corkboards because they can look messy, but this linen one caught my eye as it brings a feminine touch to my office. Thankfully it comes in various sizes. The board’s neutral fabric and white wooden frame make it a perfect fit for any office design.
Drawer Organizer
I’ve mentioned this drawer organizer before, and I can’t say enough how much it helps keep my smaller desk drawers neat and tidy. You can check out my previous post for more details. The different compartments make it easy to sort and separate different items, such as pens, highlighters, pushpins, and paper clips. I even use one to keep my tech supplies organized. It’s definitely a useful addition to my workspace and one of my favorite finds!
Hanging Files
I have tried various brands of hanging files in the past, but most of them either bend easily or the glue doesn’t hold up well. However, I have finally found a reliable option that works! These hanging files are strong and available in many different colors. I chose a neutral gray shade for my office design and have been able to keep my personal and business files separate and organized since I got them last year. These hanging files have truly transformed the way I manage my home and work files!
